Requirements to Apply For Data Science

A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data science or a closely related role
Proficient in Python (or R), and experienced with relevant data science libraries such as pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, matplotlib, or seaborn
Experience working with SQL and querying large datasets
Familiar with version control tools like Git and collaborative development environments
Demonstrable ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical concepts to a varied audience

Strong understanding of statistics, machine learning, and data wrangling
Able to design, implement, and evaluate machine learning models for real-world business problems
Comfortable with data storytelling — using data visualizations and clear communication to share insights
Proficiency in the English language (written and oral), sufficient for success in a remote and largely asynchronous work environment
Must pass an evaluation based on a GitHub project or a take-home project from AltSchool Europe
